GIVING BACK TO THE DEL VALLE LIBRARIES
By volunteering our time and talents.
What is a Friends Volunteer?
Friends volunteers are a highly diverse bunch. They may be stay-at-home Moms or Dads, farmers, business people, engineers, teachers, nurses and so much more. What they all share is a love of books and an appreciation of the diverse programs the Del Valle Libraries offer to the community. We can always use your help, whether it’s once a year or five hours a week, we will find something you will enjoy doing.
Our new Friends of the Del Valle Libraries group will be contributing our time and support to our Librarians at Elroy and Garfield Branch locations.
ā
Our Meetings are open to everyone and currently scheduled for the 2nd Thursday of the Month at 6:00pm-7:00pm at the Del Valle Libraries-Elroy Branch Learning Center, 13512 FM 812, Del Valle. We do NOT meet in July, November or December.
